So after years and years of being the cynical one, mocking other people for doing things like enjoying school dances, dressing up, going out, having school and house spirit, you know what I've worked out?

Hi everybody!

So, yeah, I'm new to this whole blogging thing really... I was supposed to do one for a subject I was doing at uni and hated it, so I don't really know why I'm starting one now, but I'm a little excited so forgive me.

I thought it might be cool to have a place to put interesting random thoughts, and posts about holidays and stuff so all you stalkers can keep up with what I'm doing and thinking without ever having to talk to me - awesome huh? Plus, I don't have to make any special effort to let any of you random people I probably don't even know know what I'm up to either. (That sentence doesn't work.. and I don't know why.. I've read it a thousand times and I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but it still doesn't work... fail..)

So.. opening thoughts...

I'm really set on this idea of driving around Australia for dec/jan - I reckon it'd be AWESOME. To go right around the coast (plus Tassie and Uluru) it will take:

9 days and 9 hours of driving;
$2136.98 in gas (at today's prices);
17,000 and something Kms;
My car;
A mattress; and
A friend.

And, if I drive approximately 6 hours a day on days that I'm driving, that leaves like 20 days that I can stay places without moving - awesomeness huh?

Anyway, if anyone wants to join me let me know, I can only take one 'cause I'm not paying for accomm so the back seats will be down with a mattress for my bed (or two beds if someone else is coming with.)

SO EXCITED.

Only one more week of uni then it's over except for exams (thank god).
